WAG - Women's Artistic Gymnastics
Our Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) program is designed to build confidence, strength and grace in every athlete. Blending artistry with athleticism, WAG develops core skills across the four competitive apparatus — Vault, Uneven Bars, Balance Beam and Floor.
Whether your child is just beginning their artistic journey or already has experience, our structured classes support flexibility, coordination, discipline and resilience in a positive, encouraging environment. With expert coaches, a strong focus on safety and a clear progression pathway, gymnasts are supported to grow at their own pace while having fun and building lifelong skills.
In women’s gymnastics, athletes compete across four apparatus: Vault, Uneven Bars, Balance Beam and Floor.
Entry into WAG is through our WAG Development Program, which prepares gymnasts for the increased commitment and skill progression required. WAG athletes train a minimum of two sessions per week, with training hours increasing as they advance through the levels.

WAG Levels
Our Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Levels 2–4 athletes are gearing up for their very first competition season, and the energy in the gym is electric! These levels are where skills start to sparkle, confidence begins to soar and gymnasts discover just how much they’re capable of. From cartwheels that get sharper every week to beam routines that build bravery one step at a time, our athletes are learning to shine under pressure while having a whole lot of fun.
Training at the Hunter Sports Centre means being part of a supportive, spirited community where gymnasts cheer each other on, celebrate every milestone and learn what it means to be part of a team. With dedicated coaches guiding them through vault, bars, beam and floor, our Level 2–4 gymnasts are building strong foundations — not just for competition, but for a lifelong love of movement.
This season is their big moment to step onto the competition floor, show off their hard work and experience the thrill of performing in front of a crowd. It’s the start of an exciting journey, and we couldn’t be prouder of the athletes taking this leap.
Level 2 train 2 days per week – 5 hours per week
Level 3 train 3 days per week – 9 hours per week
Level 4 train 3 days per week – 10.5 hours per week
