Beginner competitive tumbling introduces athletes to the core skills of moving confidently and safely down the track. At this level, tumblers learn foundational elements such as round-offs, handsprings, and simple connected passes while building strength, coordination, and spatial awareness.

As they progress, athletes begin linking skills into short, controlled passes that emphasise clean technique and consistent landings. Coaches guide them through basic competition expectations, helping them understand scoring, form, and how to present confidently on the track.

Beginner competitions are designed to be supportive and encouraging, giving new tumblers the chance to showcase their developing skills, gain experience, and build excitement for advancing to more challenging levels.

Recommended age: 5-8yrs

Pre-requisite: Meets minimum age requirement 5yrs.

Competition:  Participants will have the opportunity to compete in inter club and local club competitions.

Intermediate tumbling challenges athletes to increase power, speed, and technical precision. Competitors begin performing more complex skills such as multiple handsprings, twisting elements, and higher‑difficulty combinations that require strong body control and timing.
