About Matt
I have been in the Fitness Industry since 2014 and have worked across many areas and roles including Group Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer, S&C Coach, Membership Manager and Club Operations Manager. Outside of work, I play rugby union, am an average cyclist and a father of two young boys.
My philosophy on fitness is that it should be accessible to anyone and everyone, and I want to create the supportive community here at HSC Fit. No matter if you are a 20 year veteran in fitness or this is your first gym, there is a place for you here to grow and perform.
I’m very excited to get stuck in and support in the growth of HSC Fit and it’s members to make it the gold standard of fitness facilities in the Lake Macquarie region.

About Blake
I hold a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science and am an Accredited Level 1 Strength & Conditioning Coach through ASCA. I’ve been working professionally in the fitness industry for the past few years, coaching across CrossFit, Strength & Conditioning, and Group Fitness environments. My involvement in training and coaching began much earlier though – I’ve been around gyms and sports since I was 15 years old.
Alongside coaching, I’m currently a semi-professional rugby player for the Hunter Wildfires, where I’ve been a member of the squad for the past four years. My experience as both an athlete and coach as shaped how I approach training – with a strong focus on building solid foundations, moving well, and developing strength that carries over into both sport and everyday life.
My philosophy is that training should be challenging, enjoyable, and sustainable. At HSC-Fit, I want to help create an environment where members feel welcome, supported, and confident – whether they’re stepping into a gym for the first time or looking to take their performance to the next level. My goal is to help people build lifelong habits, get stronger, and improve their health and wellbeing for years to come.

Ava is a former ballerina with a massive love for movement, fitness and wellbeing! Ava grew up enjoying many different sports before I found my passion in dance, and has had the chance to perform in sold-out theatres across Australia. She is currently studying her Certificate III in Fitness and is excited to be joining the HSC Fit team, and can’t wait for the opportunity to guide others on their own journey to health and wellness

Step Fit ,Pump, Spin, Hitt Circuit training, Fit Strech &Aqua Fitness
Certified in Level 3&4 Fitness .
My diverse teaching experience allows me to connect with individuals at all fitness levels, ensuring a supportive & motivating environment for everyone.
Group Fitness is my passion and I am dedicated to sharing that with you .
Outside of the Gym – I enjoy long beach walks & spending time with my family .

Whether you’re looking to build strength, improve endurance, boost overall health or even try out boxing! I am incredibly passionate about the fitness industry and am deeply dedicated to helping people transform their lives.

About Hayley
My love for fitness started young, as a competitive swimmer, I was always in the water, and by my teens I couldn’t wait to get my licence just so I could drive myself to the gym. In my twenties, I wanted a new challenge and joined the army reserves, which is where I began my fitness career. I’m now a certified personal trainer with 14 years of experience, have taught just about everything, and I’m currently learning to teach Pilates reformer. These days, I’m also a mum, and you’ll often find me doing triathlons for fun.

My philosophy – To inspire people of all ages to live happy, healthy, and independent lives. For me, fitness isn’t about perfection, it’s about how you feel. It’s a space to show up as you are, move your body, clear your mind, and build strength in a way that supports real life. No pressure, no expectations, just feeling good and staying strong for the life you want to live.

Saturday morning ground floor reception open 8am – 11.30am
You can join HSC Fit Saturday morning from ground floor reception and be issued with Fob than head upstairs to play
Sundays and Public holidays are unstaffed
